Taxis from Newsome to Huddersfield Railway Station
Huddersfield Railway Station in St George’s Square, HD1 1JB, is the main station for anyone travelling from Newsome, carrying the connections towards Leeds, Manchester and beyond. It is not far as the crow flies, but the descent and the town centre traffic between are what make timing worth thinking about.
An early train is easier to plan when our train station taxi service is arranged before travel day, with the car booked for the time you need rather than called at the last moment.
Newsome has more rail choice than many parts of Huddersfield. Depending on which end of the area you are in and where you are heading, Lockwood and Berry Brow stations on the Penistone line can suit certain journeys better than travelling into the main station. Neither is in Newsome itself, but both are close enough to be worth considering.
Collections matter just as much as drop-offs here. Arriving back at St George’s Square on a late train and then facing the climb up to Newsome with a suitcase is not much of a finish to a journey, and a booked car removes it. Commuters can set up repeat bookings so the same trip runs each week without rearranging.
Check your train service and any replacement transport before booking, as engineering works can change station arrangements.
