Sheepridge to Huddersfield Railway Station
Sheepridge has no railway station, so rail journeys begin with a car into Huddersfield Railway Station at St George’s Square, HD1 1JB, which carries the main connections towards Leeds, Manchester and services beyond.
The run in is short, but traffic through north Huddersfield at peak times can eat into a margin that looked fine when you left the house, and trains do not wait for it. Early departures are easier to plan when our train station taxi service is arranged before travel day.
Coming back is the other half of it. A booked collection at St George’s Square is better than queuing at the rank after a late service, especially with a case or with children in tow.
Anyone commuting on the same days each week can set up a standing booking so the journey runs without rebooking. Let us know about luggage so the right vehicle is sent.
Check your train service and any replacement transport before booking, as engineering works can change station arrangements.
