Fartown to Huddersfield Railway Station
Fartown has no railway station, so rail travel starts with a car down into Huddersfield Railway Station at St George’s Square, HD1 1JB, which carries the main connections towards Leeds, Manchester and beyond.
It is a short journey, but not one to leave to chance. Bradford Road and the approach into the town centre can be slow at peak times, and a train departs whether or not you are through the traffic. Early services are easier to plan when our train station taxi service is booked before travel day.
The return leg matters just as much. A booked collection at St George’s Square beats waiting at the rank after a late service, particularly with a case in hand.
Anyone commuting on the same days each week can set up a standing booking so the journey runs automatically. Tell us about luggage so an appropriate vehicle is sent.
Check your train service and any replacement transport before booking, as engineering works can change station arrangements.
